Great Con?

While we are on the subject, someone recently emailed me a small mind-bending e-book entitled the Anatomy of a Con Job by John Truman Wolfe.

It is basically anti global warming, but it had some startling information. It makes a point, with appropriate references, that oil is not a fossil fuel. Oil is manufactured under the ground, not by decaying and prehistoric matter, as the amount of oil more than dwarfs what would be available from prehistoric animals. But it is oil and gas generated deep in the crust of the earth. If we drove deep enough, we would find that oil and gas are not exhaustible. It is continually being remade, and consequently there is more than enough to last us for hundreds, maybe even thousands of years.

The book also goes into all the reasons why this is a con job. It basically says to “follow the money.” Al Gore is becoming a billionaire based on the cap and trade program. He is developing for himself a monstrous fortune based on the global-warming hysteria.

What I gathered from this short little e-book is that the supply of oil is inexhaustible, so economizing is not useful. The only real advantage would be to develop domestic oil and gas so we would be less dependent on possible hostile foreign nations.

Because global warming is a fraud, we should be concerned with helping the environment be healthy and cleaner, but not because of the fear of imaginary global warming.

In 1956, Russian scientist, Professor Vladimir Porfir’yev announced that “crude oil and natural petroleum gas has no intrinsic connection with biological matter originating near the surface of the earth. They are primordial (originating with the earth’s formation) materials which have erupted from great depths.

Oil is a fossil fuel, a fossil fuel that is scarce, and is in limited and ever decreasing supply. Moreover, its production creates carbon dioxide. Therefore its use, for virtually all productive purposes – agricultural production, real estate construction, auto, truck train and air transportation, utilities, heating, cooling, communication, ad infinitum (all of them) – must be curtailed.

Oil is not a fossil fuel and is renewable!

This, then, is a brief summary of the key elements of the con job:

  • The political theory of global warming and the deceptive call for “sustainable development” is based on junk science.
  • The global anxiety over depletion of the planet’s fossil fuels is based on a lie. Oil scarcity is a myth. Oil is not a fossil fuel and it is a renewable resource.
  • Global warming is an invention. The planet has been cooling for more than a decade, has experienced much warmer temperatures long before industrialization and man-made carbon existed – and carbon dioxide is what plants use to create oxygen.
  • Biofuels are not a solution to the planet’s environmental problems, but rather are highly destructive of life on earth.
  • Carbon credits are a vicious scam. These financial products (Cap and Trade) are possible only by political mandates; they are based on a nonexistent problem and will destroy the economies of the world while making international bankers and the global elite (Al Gore?) rich beyond imagining.
